Roll, Hedge, or Restructure the Position
Work through rolling strikes, moving expiration, closing one side, changing wing width and adding protective options. You will also see how to convert the position into other defined-risk structures.
- Roll the Iron Condor up, down or out in time.
- Add protective calls, puts or another Iron Condor.
- Convert the trade into a Butterfly or Calendar Spread.
- Tighten or widen strikes as the risk profile changes.
Manage Adjustments at Portfolio Level
The practical section connects individual adjustments with beta-weighting and portfolio balance, then demonstrates vertical, Butterfly and Calendar overlays before the professional adjustment examples.
- Measure portfolio exposure before adjusting.
- Combine adjustment structures without losing risk control.
- Close part of the position when appropriate.
- Build a repeatable adjustment process.
